Jaime Diaz, Stratford, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 20 years, suspended after eight years and followed by 15 years of probation in Bridgeport Superior Court, reported the Connecticut Post.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender.
Prosecutors told the judge that police received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, that child pornography had been downloaded by a person in Stratford, the Post reported.
The Post said police later found that a 15-minute video of adults having sex with children had been delivered to a computer in Diaz’s home.
Diaz denied downloading the video in the beginning, but then began to cry and admitted to watching the child porn every day, the Post said.
